The Truth at the Centre of Life

In the non-dual tradition, what is the ultimate aim of our interest, study and practice? It is that we may become knowers of Truth. The phrase ‘knower of Truth’ has a special meaning. It denotes that one in this position is inwardly free, fearless and completely fulfilled. The greatest of discoveries is that knowledge of Truth is self-knowledge in the deepest sense. This is the knowledge of what we are in essence, in contrast to the various self-images we create as we go through life. All self-images fall short of the glory and integrity of Truth and Truth is our ultimate nature.
