Short Course of Meditation
A course of meditation to take up, with explanations of the principles on which the practices are based.
The methods of spiritual meditation, as developed in India and the Far East, were adapted for modern life in Western society by Hari Prasad Shastri. Some of these methods are given here in the form of a progressive six-week course, with one chapter per week. Readers are invited to 'join the course' and take up the programme for themselves.

Steps in the course are: Getting Set Up for Meditation; Bringing the Mind Under Control; Feeling the Meditation; Creating the Focus; Self-Identification; The Canvas of Meditation.

'To meditate means, in the lower stages, to apply thought-force consciously... In the higher stages, the discovery of complete freedom and God within one's own self.'
