Realization of the Absolute Naishkarmya Siddhi of Sureshvara
Translated by A.J.Alston
An exposition of pure Advaita Vedanta philosophy by a faithful and enlightened follower of Shri Shankara.
Sureshvara was an enlightened disciple of Shankara and a brilliant exponent of Advaita Vedanta in its purest form. His Naishkarmya Siddhi establishes the Upanishadic doctrines on a strictly rational basis, and also reveals the discipline and meditation required for practical realization of identity with the Absolute.

Sureshvara's lively style is itself a spiritual therapy. He called the work 'a compendium containing the essence of the entire Upanishadic teaching'.

Transliterated Sanskrit text and explanatory notes are included.

How can the man of discrimination, who sees the same one Self in the friend, in the enemy and in his own body, feel anger, any more than he could do so against the limbs of his own body.
